Garuda Wisnu Kencana is famous for its giant statue of Lord Vishnu riding the high-flying Garuda bird and is one of the tourism icons in Bali. The statue of Lord Vishnu is 121 meters high and is the tallest statue in Indonesia and one of the tallest statues in the world. Apart from the statue of Lord Vishnu, the GWK complex also has an art museum, theater and entertainment area that offers a variety of cultural activities and events.
Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance
Uluwatu Kecak Dance is performed on an open/outdoor stage in the shape of a circle right next to Uluwatu Temple. The stunning cliff views coupled with the beautiful sunset panorama make this place very famous for domestic and foreign tourists. The Uluwatu Kecak dance performance is very special apart from being staged in an area that is very sacred for Hindus in Bali, also because the position of the stage where the performance takes place is also very spectacular, the audience can see the beautiful Uluwatu sunset while watching the Kecak dance.
